Video ads destroyed this app

Ive used this app for years and have never had a problem until the latest update. The video ads render its functionality useless.

The alarm will go off at the set time but the video ads starts playing a half second later. The app then silences all sounds leaving the video active. After that no further alarms will work because THE VOLUME IS TURNED OFF.

I understand the need for adds on a free app but they shouldnt effect the ability for the app to do its job.

On the hunt for a new alarm clock.

Disappointed.
