As others have said, this update RUINED a once-great app. From the addition of ads, to the fact that if you have auto-lock turned on the app no longer keeps the screen unlocked, to the fact that you can’t use streaming radio as your alarm any more, iHome has destroyed this app.

I loved the original. I am very disappointed in the new version, had nothing but issues and dont like the new features.

They COMPLETELY RUINED this app! I used to love the gradual wake feature, and use this app everyday, but now the app is impossible to use. It would be perfect the way it was! Change it back PLEASE

Why remove the feature that made this app great? Without the internet radio all I have now is fancy clock. Seems every one is telling ihome the same thing. I think an about turn would be the wise thing to do.

I used this app for the last 3 years as I loved it. Bought a iHome device to use with it. Then they "updated" it so they can charge 99 cents to get rid of ads. I guess $100.00 for the iHome device want enough. Forget it. I have given up and looking for another alarm. You guys blew it!

New update - Absolute junk. Next update better revert back to the last version or Ill eat the cost of my ihome clock and pitch it in the garbage with your latest update. Im lookin for something new. Way to blow a great thing.

Why did you create an update that stops the alarm from going off! The sleep timer doesnt work so I have the zen sound all night long and then the alarm sound doesnt always go off audibly!!! How is it helpful to have an alarm that doesnt make a sound to wake you up!!!!! This is garbage!!!!!!!!!

Before the update, it was easily my favorite app. It was intuitive and easy to use. Now, it is horrible. The stats are no longer on the device. Played with the settings for a long time and still could not get them to work as before. I cant use it anymore. Ill use the iHomes built in alarm and bypass this useless update. Do not update to this version!!!! Now when I choose to fall asleep to music, I no longer have volume control but the volume window popup never goes away. My iPhone automatically locks after 1 minute but the old app prevented it from locking. This meant the app would stay in the foreground. Since the update, when the iPhone locks, the display on the phone goes blank and i have no control over the app until I unlock the phone. This means I have to unlock the phone and get back into the app to snooze or shut off the alarm! With the old app, I had set my iPhone constantly display and would shut off the clock display while the app was running and my iphone was plugged in. When I closed the app or unplugged the iPhone, the clock display and the iPhone display would return to normal.....not anymore. The previous app was so well thought out and properly executed. This version is useless. No thought was given to this version on keeping the same functionality or ease of use. I doubt the same programmer wrote this version of the app. This version is like a beta version....unfinished. The previous version ran perfectly. This is a textbook example on how not to update an app. I have been a big fan of iHome for years, but if this app isnt rolled back to its previous version, I will be chucking my iHome clocks in the garbage. I dont need to wake up to aggravation every morning. Please roll back the update to previous version. You have bricked my iHome alarm clock. App does not work at all. You have rendered my iHome alarm clocks completely useless. Its now July 31, 2014, I cant believe this app hasnt been fixed. The alarm only works about 1/4 of the time. For the love of God, please roll back the app to the previous version. The previous version never failed, this version consistently doesnt work! Ive never seen such complete indifference and silence from an app designer. The latest update has been universally trashed on every website that reviewed this app. The people trashing the app, loved the previous version. BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS VERSION!!!!!!!

I want the older version back. The new program looks good but everything is a mess... Screwed up the music to sleep mode, screwed up the alarm mode, cant listen to music to sleep if you leave the program... Its so frustrating. Dont download it unless its fixed

Everything changed for the worse. I cant figure out how to use any of the old features prior to the update. Im not sure if they are embedded in iHome Zen or Set, because even though I downloaded them, neither of them open.

Used to work ok and now it doesnt even allow me to use the alarm function. Volume symbol just freezes on the screen. I think Ill throw out the clock unit too as it is now just an oversized charger... Junk!

Needs music audio controls on screen like previous version. Alarm doesnt sound when a message pops up like text or missed calls or emails. The sleep/wake/snooze slider/button is too small for big fingers. Make a better update please.

The alarm did not go off in Do Not Disturb mode, causing me to be late for my first day of school. Very upsetting.

The app randomly closes in the middle of the nigh, causing my alarms to shut off. I use to love this app, but now its just pathetic.

iHome is behind the ball with updating this app to work correctly with iOS 8. Unable to change the alarm sound used for bedtime and wakeup. Seriously guys, its not as if the OS update was a surprise.

New update has major flaws. I cant change any of the default settings. Eg Fahrenheit to Celsius, cant change the wake up tones. Lost my favourite feature the "gentle wake". I would be appreciative of they fixed the issues quickly.

Dont know what happened but all of a sudden the app wont let me edit my alarms or change anything in the settings. So if I want an alarm to go off Im stuck with the default buzzer noise. It wont let me access my music, choose "none" for no alarm, wont even let me change the tone to something less aggravating. What the shot just happened? You know what doesnt matter Im tired of the crap this alarm has had me deal with. Switching to a new alarm app. Anyone thinking of getting this, do yourself a favor and download something else.

hi just recently started using the app again because my iPod third-generation died so I havent used it for a while and it was nice and had a nice look it was easy to use everything worked now it wont change Fahrenheit to Celsius and whered all the stuff go that was on it, its not nice anymore

This app just keeps on getting worse and worse!! First of all I cant even pick what I listen to when I wake up, if I click music or tones, nothing happens! And whats with the adds, like buying a $150 iHome wasnt enough now I have to pay $.99 to get rid of adds!!!!
